We did the same on our boat and have been very pleased with the (lack of) energy consumption. Our boat is all 12 volt (no AC gen just an inverter) so low draw was critical for us. They are also much cooler running which we like. When you get around to adding reading lights, check out Alpenglow. This is where color temperature, beam width and all that jazz become very important and we found they were the best out of all that we tested. Nice products and nice folks.

Your boat is looking great. Really nice finish work... keep up the excellent work.

We are just starting to look at what we want to do for interior deck finishes over the plywood subfloors (wood, synthetic, cork, carpet, bamboo, etc?) Lots of hatches to trim around so it'll be a pretty labor intensive project whatever we do (seems like everything is like this on a boat).

Regards,

PeterPeterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08074046315219284398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4191014990720345596.post-23087695728847396822013-05-12T06:26:07.656-04:002013-05-12T06:26:07.656-04:00Thanks for the interest Clipper. I consider my own boat build to be pretty ambitious, but your's is far more ambitious. I wish you the best of luck in completing her.Not Specifiedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11927818046036361735noreply@blogger.com
